Nous l’avions déjà évoquée lors des éditos des numéros précédents, notre situation financière ne nous permettra pas de continuer sans votre aide, et dans ce modèle économique-là ! Les hausses non compensées de la distribution, des imprimeurs, du coût du papier, la baisse des ventes générale de la presse papier, la baisse significative des ventes d’espaces publicitaires, la stagnation des abonnements, le PGE à rembourser : tout ça cumulé nous met aujourd’hui dans une position qui voit notre avenir en grand danger, jusqu’à compromettre la sortie du prochain numéro….

Voir définitivement mourir Metallian Magazine, après 31 ans de service, n’est pas concevable pour beaucoup et encore moins pour nous et notre équipe rédactionnelle fantastique. Cette bande de passionnés s’arrachant à chaque numéro pour vous sortir le meilleur d’eux-mêmes…

Nous réfléchissons à un nouveau modèle pour 2024, avec un numéro plus épais et trimestriel, avec le retour de la compilation culte et historique Metal Explosion, mais probablement plus avec une distribution en kiosque qui n’est plus rentable aujourd’hui et qui nous force à fournir trop d’exemplaires qui finissent au pilon. Mais celles et ceux qui nous aiment et nous suivent ne seraient-ils pas prêts à commander un magazine papier digne de ce nom ou à s’abonner plutôt que de l’acheter en kiosque ?

Pour arriver à ça, nous avons besoin de votre aide, seuls les abonnements ou les ventes au numéro ne suffiront pas : nous comptons sur cette cagnotte participative qui nous aidera à passer l’année 2023 et nous conduirait sur un nouveau magazine papier en 2024…

As we had already mentioned it in the editorials of our previous issues, our financial situation will not allow us to continue without your help, and in this economic format… The uncompensated increases in distribution, printer’s costs, due to the cost of paper, the general sales which are lower in the print press, the change of policy of important labels when it comes to advertise in the print press nowadays, the stagnation of subscriptions: all of this cumulatively puts us today in a position that sees our future in danger, to the point of compromising the release of the next issue.

Established in 1991, Metallian Magazine has becomed over the years one of the elite metal publications in Europe in the print media world! Seeing such an institution having serious chances to die after 31 years of service, is not conceivable for many of our die hard readers and even less for us and our fantastic editorial team. This team working hard at each issue to bring out the best in themselves…

We have projects but we need you for reaching them!!! We are thinking of a new model for 2024, a stronger magazine maybe a quarterly issue, with the return of the cult and historical Metal Explosion CD Sampler, but a magazine probably not anymore distributed to newsagents which is no longer profitable today and which forces us to provide a circulation of too many copies which end up in destruction. But you, die hard fans who follow us since so many years, are you not ready to order this magazine by mail order or subscribe rather than buying it in stores?

To achieve this, we need your help!

Only subscriptions or single issue sales will not be enough: we are counting on this participatory prize pool which will help us to get through 2023 and will lead us to a new great magazine that you could order through our website plateform in 2024 …
